Meeting Information

The topic for this meeting is “Outreach in Unusual Times” with guest speaker Mike Donohue, Community Outreach Coordinator for Orange County Library System. Donohue will share how he and his colleagues are adapting to current circumstances to reach OCLS patrons. There will be time for questions following Donohue’s presentation.

Mike Donohue is the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Orange County Library System. As a member of the Marketing and Public Relations department, his responsibilities include coordinating the library’s presence at offsite events, cultivating community partnerships and implementing library marketing campaigns and communication strategies.

Interest Group Facilitator:  Rachel Cook

Rachel Cook is the Marketing and Public Relations Manager at the Alachua County Library District, where she oversees marketing campaigns, advertising, and media relations. A lifelong library lover, she joined ACLD in 2019 after working as a director, sales manager, editor, and reporter at newspapers in three states and serving as a communications consultant in Cambodia. She is constantly learning from and awed by her library colleagues. She loves creating and testing new marketing strategies and tools.
Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members only.  Registration is strongly encouraged.
