Make City Labs Virtual Meet & Greet with InQbate

Throughout the pandemic the small business community has pivoted to navigate and survive during unprecedented economic shifts. In partnership with InQbate Loyola, the Illinois Small Business Development Center at ICNC is launching Make City Labs, a cohort-driven training and development program equipping small businesses with resources, knowledge, and a network to guide them through the current COVID-economy and for what’s on the other side.

This meet & greet will serve as a launch for a 10 event cohort with the InQbate team that will begin in late January 2021. The cohort will be a 10-week digital marketing masterclass for businesses on Chicago's West Side. The cohort will include one-on-one support along with classes on:

  • Understanding your brand
  • Digital marketing overview
  • Creating a digital marketing strategy
  • Adapting small business strategies during a pandemic
  • Presentation skills

There is space for 15 businesses to participate. All businesses who participate fully will receive a certificate of completion from Loyola University.

The Illinois Small Business Development Center and Illinois Small Business Development Center International Trade Center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, and the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago (ICNC). Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. Please contact the center at (312)433-2373 or (312)433-7656.
