Youth Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognized evidence-based program that teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of addiction and mental illnesses and substance use disorders in adolescents (ages 12-18). This virtual training will give you the skills to reach out and provide initial support to young people. Attendees are required to complete 2 hours of pre-work at least 24 hours prior to the start of the virtual class.
Attendees will receive an e-mail from their instructor and MHFA after January 20 with with details about the virtual class and pre-work.
