Join the YMWIC 11th Annual Scholarship and Awards Live-Streaming Event on May 27, 2021

On Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 5:30PM, YMWIC will host and live-stream the 11th Annual Scholarship and Awards event. All of our graduating seniors will receive a scholarship to attend the college of their choice. Our esteemed keynote speaker, Mr. Michael Duncan, President and CEO of Chester County Hospital - Penn Medicine, will impart valuable life lessons and advice to the Scholars. Mrs. Barbara Gee, Executive Coach and YMWIC Supporter, will be returning as our Mistress of Ceremonies.

Last program year, YMWIC celebrated 10 years of Transformation--Shaping the Minds of Tomorrow's Leaders. We continue into another decade with a focus to prepare talented young Scholars to graduate high school, college, and become successful leaders in their fields and in the communities they serve. This event has a primary focus of raising Scholarship dollars for our Scholars. Our goal for May 27th is $100,000.

We will also honor industry executives who have supported YMWIC and the community.

  • West Impact Award: Bentley Systems, Inc, Infrastructure & Engineering Software & Solutions -- Mr. Daniel Koval, Corporate Initiatives Manager
  • Educational Leadership Award for Secondary Education: Dr. Daniel P. McGarry, Superintendent, Upper Darby School District
  • Educational Leadership Award for Post-Secondary Education: Mr. Aaron A. Walton, President of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania
