Our local meetings provide a forum to share expertise, ideas and knowledge. In addition, our programs offer our members and the community timely information about giving trends, financial strategies, donor behaviors and marketing.
In Michele Boillotat’s previous role as the Executive Director of Women’s Philanthropy at Indiana University, she had an opportunity to work with university leadership and highly involved volunteers to build a successful engagement program for female alumni, spouses, parents and friends which resulted in more than $125 million being raised for programs university wide. In this virtual session, Michele will share the key research findings that led to the development of the women’s philanthropy program at IU. She will also discuss key successes and learned lessons of the program, along with the best practices to consider when working with your female donors. Learning objectives and outcomes are:
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: As a professional with more than 25 years’ experience in higher education fundraising, Michele Boillotat joined the university advancement division at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019. She currently works with colleagues to grow and develop the annual giving, corporate and foundation giving, and gift planning programs. Previously, Michele was Executive Director of Women’s Philanthropy at Indiana University, Director of the annual fund at Rice University, and Associate Director for the Dartmouth College Fund at Dartmouth College. Michele began her professional career as Director for Chapter Services for Alpha Gamma Delta Women’s Fraternity in Indianapolis after working as a consultant while pursuing her master’s degree at The Ohio State University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Duquesne University. Michele recently graduated from Leadership Arlington and currently volunteers her time in Arlington with Women in Philanthropy and the Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Alliance.
