GBSF Leader/Reader Workshop

Saturday, March 13, 2021

Pandemic restrictions have resulted in many of us having lots of time on our hands.  Why not use some of this time to hone your skills as a Great Books discussion leader!

This annual workshop, open to everyone, is your chance to learn methods, to practice techniques, and to get answers to your questions and concerns about leading engaging discussions using Shared Inquiry.  In the process you will become a better reader because developing your skill as a leader will change you into an active reader. You will approach new material from a different perspective. You will find yourself automatically reading more deeply than before. It’s a win-win!

This virtual workshop will include reading materials, friendly practice sessions, tips for leading effectively in the Zoom era, and lots of time to ask questions.

We will begin at 10 am and end by 4 pm, with a 2-hour break at noon for lunch and for chatting with other participants if desired.

The workshop fee is $30 which includes a packet of readings, a workbook, and related materials.

Sign up soon!  Attendance is limited, and registration ends on Feb. 28.
