China, The World, and The WTO
a GBD Gavel Day Event and Zoom Conference
Tuesday, January 12, 2021
2:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Via Zoom at Your Computer

In addition to being the world's top exporter, China has become the most important market for a growing number of countries.  The benefits of those developments, however, are offset to some extent by the control that the Government of China exercises over Chinese buyers (and sellers).  These developments and their consequences, will be our subject at this next GBD event, when the speakers will be:

Nick Giordano
National Pork Producers Council
Moderator

John Miller
Trade Data Monitor LLC

Tomas Baert
Delegation of the European Union

Andrew Jory
Embassy of Australia, and

John Magnus
TradeWins LLC

Price.  There is no charge for GBD Members or press.  The general admission price is $30, with a special $15 rate for U.S. government staff.

Registration.  We hope you can join us for this important discussion.  To register, simply click the link below and follow the prompts.

A Note on Q&A.  As usual at GBD events, next Tuesday's session will conclude with a general discussion/Q&A.  Becuase this is a virtual event, however, we will only be able to respond to questions that have been submitted in advance.  The deadline for sumitting questions is 12 Noon Eastern Standard Time on Monday, January 11.

To submit a question, send an email to rkmorris@gbdinc.org.  We'll get to as many as we can.  Thanks for your interest.  See you on January 12.
