This is a Virtual course using Google Meet.  Classes will meet Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 5:00-7:00pm.

You will be notified via email all login information for the class Learning Management System and a Google Meet link one week before the class is slated to begin.

Boost Student Engagement

 A Virtual Learning, Professional Development Opportunity

Please Note: Classes will meet virtually Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday from 5pm-7pm via Google Meet.

 Get ready to boost your students’ excitement and get them engaged with the content no matter if you are teaching in-person, or remotely! During this course, you will learn how to successfully plan and implement activities, using a variety of resources, that can be used asynchronously or synchronously with your students, learn how to collect meaningful feedback and data to drive your future instruction, as well as take your students to the next level to empower them to be creators of content rather than just consumers.  This course will include modules on not only student engagement and creation, but student voice and choice, and gamification.

Classes will take place on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday from 5pm-7pm via Google Meet. 

Graduate Credit will be available from Kent State University for an additional fee.  If you are interested in receiving Kent State credit, you will receive a link in your introduction materials before the class begins to sign up and pay for credit. 

Workshop fee: $95.00

  • Registrants will receive the class link one week prior to the start of class. 
  • Please note that your registration is not complete until payment is received within 5 days of registration date.

  • Credit Card payments can be secured by calling 330-677-4549 and asking for Judi.  
  • Copies of purchase orders need to be sent to education@westernreservepublicmedia.org

PLEASE NOTE - IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN 5 DAYS FROM REGISTRATION, REGISTRATION WILL BE CANCELED.

****Cancellation Policy****

  • Registrant must notify via email to education@westernreservepublicmedia.org no later than 1 week before the session of cancellation in order to receive a full refund.
  •  Notification of cancellation less than 1 week before the session will result in a 50% refund.
  • Notification of cancellation on the day of the session will result in no refund.
