Coffee Talk Bible Study - Surrendered

Join us for a socially distanced, mask on, women's Bible study. This study will challenge us to let go and live like Jesus. We will be focusing on Jesus in the wilderness - a Lenten theme. We will have a limited number of books available for purchase in the office for $12 or you can purchase them online from cokesbury.com.

The class will be a hybrid class (in person or zoom) with limited in person registration, so please make sure to register as soon as possible. No child care will be available. This class will be led by Pastor Rebecca Rutherford and will meet on the West Campus in room WD105 (LOL Room). Please read week one before for the first class on February 23rd.

More about the class: Following along with our Lenten sermon series on surrender, during this 6 week Bible study, we will learn to let go by exploring Jesus' time of testing in the wilderness. As we look to His example, we will discover 6 principles that will equip us to let God lead us to victory as we deal with the problems we are facing. Along the way, we will compare Jesus' responses to those of the Israelites, who also faced a long wilderness season centuries earlier. This study will equip you to give up control, reach for God, let go of fear, and experience the blessings of the surrendered life.
