BACS Principles and Case Studies 

In this workshop, we will discuss the process of engaging a supervisee with a systematic ethical framework to determine case action and the techniques of modeling systemic ethical problem solving.

Course Objectives:

  • The attendee will focus on ethical frameworks and the consequences and costs and benefits of different directions in interventions with supervisee clients.
  • The NASW code of ethics will be applied in systematic analysis of issues in supervisee cases.
  • We will review the latest version of the NASW code of ethics and spend some time with the most recent guidelines that focus on technology.
This training is designed for LCSW-BACS Licenses. This continuing education workshop provides 3 BACS ethical hours. The cost of 1 ticket is $85. Tulane School of Social Work adjuncts, DSW students, faculty, and staff may contact us for discount codes. Only Master Card and Visa Accepted.

Parker Sternbergh  Parker Robinson, MHA, LCSW-BACS

Parker Robinson, MHA, LCSW-BACS is the Director of the Porter Cason Institute and Center for Life Long Learning at the Tulane School of Social Work. She has been at Tulane since 2009. Mrs. Robinson works in private clinical, agency, and community macro settings.

CANCELLATION POLICY -- In the event you cannot come to our program, it is important for you to notify us 24 hours before the program begins, in writing by email at jstpierre@tulane.edu.  We will refund the registration fee if notified 24 hours prior to the workshop. 

Policies and Regulations: 

1. Please do not share the Zoom Meeting link with anyone who is not registered. We must honor Tulane University policies around capacity and create waiting list for these events. If an individual has not registered in Constant Contact but attends the Zoom Meeting, this person will not receive credit for their attendance. 

2. TSSW is available to offer minimal technology assistance, such as unmuting or muting your microphone. 

3. Register for Zoom at least 20 minutes in advance to account for any technology issues prior to the meeting.

4. Mute microphone upon entry.

5. Maintain a professional view of your camera to include attire and background. You should have limited distractions visible in the background.

6. Attendance is extremely important to the amount of credit hours you will receive.Time will be deducted from the total credit hour(s) when you are not in attendance.

7. The quiz/evaluation will be emailed to you.

8. If you choose to call in, use the Zoom "Connect to Audio" option with your Participant ID.

9. When signing up for this event, you automatically consent to being recorded.
