Who For? Advocates, New Practitioners and Those Wishing to Gain Very Specific Understanding to Apply / Implement RCGC.

Restorative Community Group Conferencing is a 'model' often used alongside and with Courts (District, Municipal), Law Enforcement, Schools, and Communities at large. It is often a non-profit community based program working alongside these systems. Sometimes, an RJ program will partner with a DA's office or otherwise but this is less prevalent at least in the USA.

  • Gain deeper understanding of this model or learn about it for the first time.
  • Review the historical contexts of the field that must be honored in all forms of restorative work.
  • Learn prep & process for Victims, Offenders, Community Members, and how the entire process from intake to closure works.
  • Gain hands-on mock process experience through witnessing it and volunteering to play role/s.
  • Prepare to become a community member
  • Find mentors who can support your growth and learning leveraging our community of practitioners, subsequent to your goals in this field
  • Learn implementation and relationship building techniques
