Controlled Digital Lending - Webinar (04/06/21)

Explore new methods of assisting customers

As libraries have struggled to provide access to print collections during the pandemic, we have found creative solutions that leverage staff expertise and help connect patrons with the books, journals, films, and other resources they need.

At the University of Florida, we have launched a pilot program that implements controlled digital lending as one way to ensure our students have reliable, affordable access to materials they need to be successful. This session will give an overview of our planning process, including how we navigated copyright questions, and a demonstration of our current workflow.

We will also share lessons learned and future plans and will leave time for discussion. This session will not be recorded, so plan accordingly.
