Muddy Fun Pottery Camp

Hosted by Jon Colburn, Faded Earth Pottery

July 26th - July 30th

1pm to 4pm (ages 8-14)

$135 per camper ($10 sibling discount)

Pottery Camp is back for a SIXTH year!  Your campers will spend a fun filled week hand building multiple unique and functional items!  Each child will even get to experience "throwing clay" on the potter's wheel!  Their one of a kind creations will then be fired in a kiln making them food, dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe.  The items will be available to pick up at the Sports Club within 10 days following the camp.  Campers should be willing to get their hands dirty and have some muddy fun!  Fee includes clay, glazes, kiln firing, and all tools necessary!

You can combine this camp with Art Camp: Mixed Media Mania (July 26-30) to make a FULL Day camp option.  Lunch for full day will be 12noon to 1pm each day.

Non-resident camp policy:

Non-residents may register for camp after May 15th only if attending as a guest with a HC resident.

Inclement Weather Policies:

Sport-related camps are outdoor camps.  Camp instructors provide ample water breaks and some camps will include swimming.  It is the parent/guardian responsibility to apply sunblock on your child prior to arriving at camp each morning.  In addition, it is important to supply your child with enough cold, drinking water for the entire duration of the camp each day.

Cancellation of a camp due to inclement weather (heat, rain, etc.) is determined at the discretion of the camp instructor.  A decision/policy by the instructor will be given to parent on first day of camp.

Should camp be cancelled due to inclement weather it is up to the instructor to provide an alternate date or pro-rate the camp. If an alternate date is offered, then a pro-rate will not be an option, even if the camper is unable to attend.
