We’ve probably all read the statistics about meetings. Some experts estimate that over 50% of our meeting time is wasted – think of how much that could be costing your organization! But it doesn’t need to be that way. In this world of budget cuts and doing more with less, how we’re handling our meetings is sometimes overlooked as a potential money saver and productivity enhancer – yes, I said “productivity enhancer” in the same sentence as “meetings!”

In this session, we’ll learn what to do about the 3 key areas that make a meeting successful – the before, during, and after of every meeting. Simply paying attention to each segment of the meeting process can do wonders for improving the effectiveness of those meetings.

We’ll also discuss 7 reasons many meetings are considered ineffective and specific ways you can avoid getting caught in those common traps.

You’ll come away from this webinar with real-life tips and techniques on how to make your meetings work – after all, why have one if it doesn’t work??

Virtual Trainer: Linda Bruno

Linda has been developing and conducting training workshops for libraries and other organizations for more than fifteen years. She offers workshops on topics ranging from Leadership Skills to Emotional Intelligence – and lots of areas in between!

Linda received her MBA from the University of Florida and has years of experience in hands-on management positions. She develops her workshops based on solid research and – more importantly – real-life application. Linda is also certified with DDI and Achieve Global.
