Community-Infused Story Circle

This spring's Community-Infused Story Circle will be another spectacular encounter that features OPS students and educators infused with a key community narrative. Inspired by the District’s recent focus on “The Words We Choose,” several students from South High School will convene in virtual Circle using spoken word and poetry as their mode of communication. This event is hosted by the Minnesota Humanities Center. Rose McGee, author, educator, and facilitator, will guide the circle dialogue as participants listen and engage while gaining a deeper sense of empathy, equity, and respect for student voices as well as each other.
