 On Sunday, April 11, the Goldmans will host a live Zoom demonstration for up to 100 registrants. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions via Zoom “chat” feature.  The cost for the demo is $15.00

On Monday and Tuesday, April 12 and 13, the jurors will provide a live Zoom workshop at the cost of $150.00 for WSO Active, Lifetime, and Subscriber Members. Enrollment will be limited to 30 people.  

Ken will demonstrate with emphasis primarily on effective ways to simplify and depict the figure in terms of gesture, rhythm, design, flat shapes and simplified light/dark areas using pencil, charcoal, pen/wash, watercolor and certain simple measuring techniques.  Stephanie will help you create small jewell-like paintings with mechanical pencils, ink, a kneaded eraser, brushes and white gouache on toned paper. Working from an iPhone or iPad, participants can use any preferred subject, whether from travels abroad or simply animals, figures or portraits. 

There will be a new pilot program of recorded demonstrations by WSO artists, sharing some of their special techniques and expertise in programs of 40 to 90-minute duration. The introductory price is just $10.00 each for these video "Breakout Sessions". They will be available starting Saturday, April 10, 2021, and accessible at your leisure for two weeks from that date.

• We encourage you to invite your non-member friends to participate in this wonderful opportunity.

• PLEASE NOTE:  It is critical that you use the email address to which you would like your activity confirmation and participant information emailed.  

The Paint-along supply list will be placed on the WSO website as soon as possible. Check the "Convention Workshop" tab periodically for updates.  

A wait list will be maintained for the Mini-Workshop/Paint Along; you may choose the wait list option during registration if the workshop is full.  You will be contacted in order of wait list request date if space becomes available. 

April 3, 2021 (Saturday), 8:00 pm is the Last day for cancellation. 

Cancellation Policy: See WSO Policy II.C.2 Workshops, a-d. in the WSO Membership Roster Handbook:  Cancellations will be accepted prior to April 3, 2021.  Refunds for cancellations after April 3 will be made only if the workshop fills and a replacement participant is found.  Exceptions may be made in the event of serious illness, accident, or death in the family. 

All refunds, less a $25 fee will be processed after the Paint Along ends, and will be made in the same manner payment was provided.
