Looking Back, Giving Forward: Discovering Treasures from Our Recent Past

Facilitated by Julie Demaree

The challenges we face shape who we are, what we do and how we see the world. This workshop encourages participants to identify one or more challenges from their recent past and reflect on how they may be "blessings in disguise." The process can be very cathartic, and especially fits our theme for 2020: Get Well, Stay Well. It is also a "taste" of a 7-week series that takes a deeper look at the whole of our life experience.

Join facilitator Julie Demaree, MDiv and Life Coach, on Saturday, March 20 from 10:00 -11:30 ET, as we practice learning and growing from some of life's more surprising or painful experiences. There is no cost for this workshop, however registration is required.

Julie Demaree is a recent graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary. This was a “late career” move for her, after many years in small business management (both for profit and non-profit), and life, career, and small business coaching. In her time at seminary, Julie cultivated her passions for the contemplative life, pastoral care, wellness, missional entrepreneurship, and vocational discernment as a lifetime spiritual practice. She has taught many courses around life purpose and living “true to your nature.” Julie also loves time with friends, social dancing, photography and painting, and the joys and challenges of raising a puppy! She currently lives in Brandon, Vermont.
