In 1999, Priscilla Diggs-Costen, EA, MBA, founded Costen Tax Group, and she has been making a positive impact on her clients, guiding individuals and business owners to minimize their tax liabilities and make the most of the resources available to them. On top of that, she has litigated hundreds of tax cases before the IRS and State successfully, helping her clients to overcome barriers preventing them from achieving their long-term goals.
An Army Veteran, Priscilla is someone who values hard work and dedication above all else. She attended Virginia Wesleyan College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts. She also holds an MBA, and she is an Enrolled Agent licensed with the IRS to represent taxpayers on all levels of collection. As a SCORE mentor, she has worked closely with the Small Business Administration, offering one-on-one mentoring services and teaching accounting classes to small business owners.
A firm proponent in the power of personal, friendly relationships, Priscilla believes that her commitment to people is the key to her success. She is curious by nature, which means she is always looking for new things to learn. Her insights have been published in Accounting Today, and she has appeared on CNBC and local news outlets as an identity theft expert. She is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants.
Outside the office, Priscilla enjoys traveling, hiking, taking exploration photographs, listening to music, and reading history books.
