Wise Wedesday Webinars:

Emotional Intelligence and Resilience in the time of COVID-19

Rob Ziegler from Skookum

Please join us on Wednesday, March 24 for our webinar, "Emotional Intelligence and Resilience in the time of COVID-19", with Rob Ziegler from Skookum.

Join us as we explore the basis of emotional intelligence and why the COVID-19 pandemic, from a physiological perspective, has been so challenging. We will also learn about the source of positive emotions (including resilience) and how each of us can actively develop these emotions for ourselves as well as those around us. The seminar will include a series of guided (and fun!) exercises to explore this content.

Learning Objectives (Info, tools, and skills attendees will receive):

  • Understanding of physiological basis of emotions
  • Understanding of the three nervous system states
  • Learning and application of grounding exercises
  • Awareness of social intelligence
  • Understanding of ways to build positive emotions in others

Do you require an accommodation, materials in alternate format or have inquiries about accessibility in this event? If so, please reach out to support@gowise.org no later than 5pm Friday prior to this webinar. Due to the short turnaround of our webinar series we are unable to accommodate same day requests. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully.
