Description: First Eagle is a value oriented equity manager. With the merger of THL, we now offer private credit and other income oriented vehicles. First Eagle’s Global Value team has adopted the value investment philosophy first developed byBenjamin Graham and later refined by Warren Buffett. The key principle is the purchase ofshares in what we believe to be well-positioned, well-managed and well-capitalized companieswhen they are trading at a discount to the team’s estimate of their intrinsic value—a discountknown as a “margin of safety.” The team’s focus is our bottom-up, fundamental, benchmark agnosticapproach to equity investing.
