Our guest speaker for our April chapter meeting is Jen McHugh, VP at Water Mission.
As vice president of partnerships and communications, Ms. McHugh leads Water Mission’s development and communications programs, which is based on the principles of biblical stewardship of our partners’ time, talents, and treasures. She oversees the creation and nurturing of partnerships with a wide variety of audiences, including public and private funders such as NGOs, foundations, corporations, churches, and individuals. She also leads initiatives to engage the public with all that Water Mission is doing to end the global water crisis.
Ms. McHugh joined Water Mission in 2018 and has extensive leadership experience in the philanthropic sector, serving at the directorial level of Mission: St. Louis, Bright Hope, and Samaritan’s Purse. Currently, she serves on the board of the Gospel Justice Initiative.
She earned a master’s degree in public relations, advertising, and applied communications from Webster University and a bachelor’s degree in English literature and creative writing from Indiana University.
