How and When to Have Hard Conversations with Families 

During this training, we will discuss in depth ways to have open, positive communication and relationships with families, even when it is hard. The goal of this training is to provide a rich understanding of the special education referral process, when and how to suspect a disability, what to say to parents, and how to make a referral for special education services with good data and justification.
