Welcome to the Oak Brook Park District’s Movie in the Park series! Bring your blankets, picnic baskets, beverages and lawn chairs for these outdoor showings of our favorite movies!
Searching for a safer habitat, the prehistoric Crood family discovers an idyllic, walled-in paradise that meets all of its needs. Unfortunately, they must also learn to live with the Bettermans -- a family that's a couple of steps above the Croods on the evolutionary ladder. As tensions between the new neighbors start to rise, a new threat soon propels both clans on an epic adventure that forces them to embrace their differences, draw strength from one another, and survive together.
Register for your own socially distant circle for up to 6 people for a flat fee. Front rows cost $20 and back rows cost $10. It’s not required to wear a mask if you remain within your circle. We ask movie goers that they wear a mask when they cannot remain socially distant. Portable restrooms will be available onsite. When you arrive onsite you will be checked in and sent into the park to obtain a circle in your designated section on a first come first serve basis. Please note the park will not be open to movie goers until 7:30pm. No food or beverages will be sold onsite; please bring your own. If there is inclement weather, the movie will be postponed. Please check the weather hotline the day of the movie after 4:00pm. Weather hotline: (630) 645-9553
All movies take place at the Central Park Performing Arts Pavilion, 1500 Forest Gate Road, Oak Brook. If inclement weather is forecast (rain, heat, etc) performances will be postponed. Updates will be made the day of the performance.
