NPO CONNECT - April Meeting

LET'S TALK ABOUT:

High Impact Organizational Communication

Effective communication is the single most important predictor of success for interpersonal relationships on the job. Often, chronic conflict, reduced teamwork, job stress and an overall impaired work culture in any nonprofit can be attributed to poor communication styles among individuals and between groups and departments.

Yet communication is frequently taken for granted, as an activity that is learned early in life, and very little of our educational or nonprofit professional training experience is devoted to the crucial process of communicating. This webinar is a short-shot, fast-paced, high impact webinar that teaches the characteristics of effective communication... talking so others will listen and listening so others will talk!

Key Learning Objectives: Participants will…

  1. Gain a better understanding of effective and ineffective communication styles
  2. Learn four listening styles that will increase the quality and quantity of communication in any relationship
  3. Learn new, productive communication styles that are immediately applicable in any work setting
