IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This designation course will be broadcast live via Zoom and split into three 4-hour sessions on consecutive days. You must be present 100% of the class times on all days to receive CE credits. No partial credits will be given.

In compliance with Hawai‘i Real Estate Commission rules for CE Providers, all participants will need to follow specific guidelines in order to receive CE credits.
• Participants are responsible for the performance of their own technology and equipment, including audio volume, video clarity, and reliable high-speed Internet connection.
• Microphone and camera functions are required.
• Participant’s live appearance on the video feed must be in view (full face must be on screen) during class times.
• Only registered participants will be admitted into the Zoom classroom. If you will be using multiple devices, you need to notify HIR Staff as soon as possible (admin@hawaiiislandrealtors.org).

NOTICE: Prior to registering for any course we suggest you to view your CE Status online: https://pvl.ehawaii.gov/mypvl.
16-99-95. A licensee shall not take a continuing education course for which the licensee has already received a certificate within two consecutive biennia.

Terms of Attendance: Attendance is required. You must be present for the entire course to be eligible for CE credits (excluding registration & break).

Transfer, Cancellation & Refund: The deadline for refunds/course transfers for any enrollee is seven (7) days prior to the scheduled course date. There will be a $10 fee for each class cancellation/transfer. Requests for cancellation/transfer must be submitted in writing to kehau@hawaiiislandrealtors.org.

Returned Check Policy: A $25 service fee will be charged for all returned checks.

COURSE MATERIALS NOTICE: Effective January 1, 2015, all class materials will be sent to you in advance electronically via e-mail. If you would like a printed copy available at the class, please email a request to HIR Staff, not less than 3 business days prior to the scheduled class you will be attending, and it will be available at the registration table. There will be a nominal fee per class for all printed materials.
Reasons for going GREEN:
1. Allow participants to preview materials and prepare questions for the instructor.
2. Allow members to readily retrieve materials for review in the future.
3. Reduce costs to Association for materials.

The SRESŪ Designation Course counts as an elective for the ABR and CRS Designations.

The SRESŪ designation program provides professional training and development in building skills and gaining resources needed for specialization in working with adults age 50+ through selling their home, buying rental property, moving to a senior community, and more.  Successful completion of the SRESŪ Designation Course
 Active membership in the National Association of REALTORSŪ
 Active membership in the SRESŪ Council. The SRESŪ Designation Course fee includes 1-year’s membership in the SRESŪ Council (annual dues are $99 thereafter).

 Shari is a REALTORŪ Associate with Locations LLC, and has been working with Hawaii’s seniors and their families for more than 25 years. During her career as a Certified Senior Advisor, Shari has worked in many areas of the senior industry as a Financial Advisor – from advising families with long term care planning to consulting with healthcare providers.


Shari is a highly recognized speaker and an approved CE instructor. She has also authored several CE courses.
