Defining DEI for YOUR Nonprofit

This workshop will provide attendees with tangible takeaways on how to avoid simply checking a “DEI checkbox,” and how to make commitments to being present and being an inclusive leader. In this workshop, we’ll discuss the role of DEI in the workplace, how diversity affects the bottom line, and how to implement DEI best practices in both your personal and professional lives.

Takeaways:

  • overall DEI strategy and DEI statements
  • creating an inclusive culture ( addressing micro aggressions, unconscious bias, etc)
  • recruitment plan, pipeline, advancement, succession for future employees, board and volunteers
