May 22, 2021 Zoom Presbytery Gathering

Siblings in Christ,

While we wait for a measurable herd immunity from the virus we’ve all adjusted for, out of an abundance of caution, we will hold our Saturday, May 22, presbytery meeting via Zoom, from 9:00 – 11:30 AM. As we look ahead to our next Matthew 25 topic, Employment, at the intersection of racism and poverty, our intention is that the conversations and actions around the matter of Criminal Justice are still ongoing.

We hope you have found insight, motivation, and, yes, even challenge as you have moved through these issues. We will continue to make space for your experiences around the previous discussion issue, shifting from breakout rooms during the meeting to your engagement via email in the days prior to the meeting.

Once you’ve registered for the meeting, we invite you to think about the question “ Where have you noticed or been challenged by the topic of Criminal Justice since our meeting on March 9?” My email address will be provided in your registration confirmation email. Please send a sentence or two to me before Friday, May 21, so we can share them and learn from them during our time together.
