Design Excellence Through Powerful Influence
Please join us to hear A moderated panel discussion with three Cleveland Design influencers who will discuss current design trends and future goals of the architectural profession. The speakers will be Mark Mistur, AIA, Dean of the KSU College of Architecture and Environmental Design, Lillian Kuri, Executive VP & COO with the Cleveland Foundation and Walter B. Jones, Jr. AIA, Sr. Vice President of Campus Transformation with MetroHealth. With unique backgrounds representing Architects serving in Academia, Philanthropy, and Health Care,the moderator Larissa Burlij, AIA, with Bialosky Cleveland, will focus the discussion on how their non-traditional design roles influence the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the Northeast Ohio community.

Evaluate the three different visions and levels of influence that the Academic, Philanthropic and Health Care sectors can have on improving existing conditions of local neighborhoods with thoughtful analysis and programming for a better future.

Compare and contrast three different visions on the role of art and architecture in Northeast Ohio from the unique perspective of design influencers and their role in selecting design teams for their transformational impact and local community well being.

A brief question and answer session so that learners can inquire, with more detail, any specific aspects of the art and architecture visions and design team selection process that they would like to discuss.
