COMMON PIR DAY

September 24, 2021

Join us for a day of professional learning hosted by School Services of Montana, CSPD Region IV, and Manhattan School District.  This year, we’ll support the following topics through a general session in the morning, followed by breakout session options:

  • building the foundations and a common language for SEL
  • strategies for explicit instruction in social and emotional skills
  • integration of SEL with academic curriculum areas
  • supporting the schoolwide community with SEL (adult learning, community/ family engagement and support)

We’re also offering an ‘unconference’ style segment in the afternoon (similar to an EdCamp), which is a participant-led discussion and sharing of ideas on a specific topic.  You may suggest a topic or join one that others suggest (ie, science or other curriculum-focused discussions, Google and other apps for tech integration, supporting students with dyslexia, or any other topic you bring to the table)!

Fees:
Member educators - $35 per participant (includes lunch)
Nonmember educators - $45 per participant (includes lunch)
Virtual attendance - $15 per participant

Please note that this registration form is intended to be used by individual educators seeking to attend our Common PIR day.  If you are interested in registering as a team or school district, please contact the event administrator, Melissa Tovaas, for a streamlined registration form - thanks!
