The pandemic has heightened student and adult social and emotional needs, placing a spotlight and urgency on SEL in schools. Yet embedding SEL into our systems and developing the mindset for SEL is no quick and easy feat. The Montana OPI has task forces on the SEL mission. In this session, you will explore Montana’s new SEL Competencies and how to weave them into your work. Experience structures and strategies supportive of SEL, and engage in collaborative conversations with peers from across Montana, to brainstorm ideas and collect resources to build into your 2021-22 SEL plans.
