Lights for Literacy is hosting our Sixth Annual "Light the Night" Dinner Fundraiser on November 13, 2021.
2020 was no ordinary year as the pandemic affected all of us in many ways. Even through all the difficulties, we are happy to report that a total of 4,000 solar room lights and 10 solar panel systems made their way to Zimbabwe in December 2020. While many of their schools are still shut down, our hope is that the children and communities will start to benefit from the lights very soon.
Together, we can continue to promote literacy to secondary school children by providing solar-powered room lights and access to clean drinking water to impoverished communities. Our programs need your participation now more than ever to be successful and to allow for self-sustainability and continued growth.
