Boats & Cakes & Storefronts, Oh My!

Enjoy a full week of hands-on activities employing the elements of three dimension, color theory, and collage as we build spectacular mobile dreamboats, construct and design our own Wayne Thiebaud-style cakes, and create beautiful storefront collages!  Campers will love the freedom and energy of the studio environment as they engage in these timeless art-making activities which are proven to stimulate young minds as well as old!

*All camps are recommended for ages 7-13 and are held from 9:00am to 4:00pm daily (Lunch not provided).  Discounts are available to full-day registrants with friends or siblings! Please contact the studio for more information.

 Guest Artist, Alice Lucas

Residing in Gray with her husband and daughter, Alice is finishing up her career as a homeschooling mom and tutor to join the Momac family as assistant director/program manager. She thrives in a creative environment and enjoys trying new mediums. While she has a degree in business mgt, Alice has worked in community theater as both an actor and set design assistant, dabbled in acrylics, paper arts, and mixed media, voraciously reads, and loves to share her joy of learning with others. She is excited to see where this journey takes her and to meet lovely families along the way.

*MOMAC Summer Art Camp is designed to allow campers to experiment with an array of artistic methods and mediums.  Each week of camp is packed with fun right-brain activities and focuses on a different art medium.  Each week also features a professional guest artist who will share his or her art expertise!  Snacks and water will be provided by MOMAC Studio.
