Topic: “Can We Trust These Guys?”

Trust is the belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. For the purposes of this discussion, let us agree that the vehicle most appropriate to an organizations’ trustworthiness is “Brand”.

A Brand is a promise. By choosing a particular Brand there is an expectation that the goods or services will provide a desired level of performance, reliability, affordability, or prestige, that will enhance the reputation and value of the buyer.  “Trust” is a measure of one’s acceptance of that promise, and the catalyst for action.

Trust has two faces: A positive face (TRUST) that offers VALUE; and a negative face (DISTRUST) that presents RISK.  If Trust is a catalyst for action, how can we measure its relative Value and Risk sufficiently to produce a definitive indicator of what action to take?

This session will offer a quantitative tool to provide the answer to that question.
