Juneteenth Coalition Event: Anguish of the Elders 

Empathize: Fasting from sunup to sundown and performing 246 minutes of field work at Serendipity Farms for 246 years of enslavement. Individuals will receive an orientation from Serendipity Farms and will assist in field work at their property on Carmel Valley Road. The premise behind the fasting and field work is to empathize with the struggles of slaves who had to work in unbearable conditions. A suggested donation of $25 will be accepted at the event.
