Meeting Information

Topic:  Content Planning for Your Library

Content marketing is key to connecting with patrons and building your library’s brand. But generating fresh ideas, coordinating writing, and scheduling everything out is no small task.

In this session, marketing pros from the Jacksonville Public Library and the Thomas G. Carpenter Library at the University of North Florida will share how they create and implement inspiring content plans. Come to learn and to share lessons from your library.

Interest Group Facilitator:  Rachel Cook

Rachel Cook is the Marketing and Public Relations Manager at the Alachua County Library District, where she oversees marketing campaigns, advertising, and media relations. A lifelong library lover, she joined ACLD in 2019 after working as a director, sales manager, editor, and reporter at newspapers in three states and serving as a communications consultant in Cambodia. She is constantly learning from and awed by her library colleagues. She loves creating and testing new marketing strategies and tools.
Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members only.  Registration is strongly encouraged.
