Please join us for the 2021 KDA Conference - Global Momentum: Bringing the KD Community Together. This virtual event will bring together members of the worldwide Kennedy's Disease community to learn more about KD, strategies for living with it, and efforts to develop a treatment for it. Last year's conference, our largest ever, included participants from 22 different countries. This year we hope to build on that success and reach an even larger number of KD patients, families, and researchers. The struggle to combat KD is global and we can achieve more when we work together. 

In response to your evaluations from last year's conference, there will be more focus on patient issues in addition to updates on the latest in research. Topics will include managing symptoms, in-depth treatment of specific problems, selection and use of mobility devices, stories and advice from other KD patients, and a Q&A session with patients and clinicians. The research talks will include several updates from last year's conference, reports from 2019 KDA grant recipients, a summary of global KD research, and a researcher roundtable discussion and Q&A. The conference will be presented on the Zoom platform on October 28 and 29 and will run four and a half hours each day, starting at 10:00 EDT (New York time), including a 25-minute break each day. Specific instrutions for logging in will be provided to all who register. Most presentations will be live, and recordings of the talks will be available to all those who register. IT IS IMPORTANT TO REGISTER EVEN IF YOU DON'T PLAN TO ATTEND THE LIVE EVENT AS ONLY REGISTRANTS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE RECORDINGS.  Optional breakout sessions for KD men, spouses/caregivers, and carriers are planned for October 28 after the formal session has ended.
