Systematic Instruction

 ENSO

Please join us on Friday, June 25 for our workshop, "Systematic Instruction" with ENSO.

ENSO is presenting the basics of systematic instruction.  As we work through this new world we are all using different skill building activities both in person and virtually to teach our participants new skills or keep existing skills sharp.  What if you had a way to measure the growth and independence of your participant’s performance?  Would it be beneficial to see how you could change/improve your teaching style to prompt more success or see where the potential for independence in the skills could be achieved?  Join us for an over view of the benefits of systematic instruction method to create space for your participant to be independence in different skills.

Learning Objectives:
  •  Review different learning styles
  •  What do you need to know before you teach skills
  • How can you measure successful independence in a skill

*Supported employment is rooted in the firm belief that all people deserve respect, dignity, and self-determination. Here at Wise, we are committed to standing up for and embracing positive changes in policies and practices to stamp out oppression and discrimination in our institutions and systems. We are focused on our mission of inclusion and equitable employment for people with disabilities. With this in mind, we ask that all participants extend respect, humility and grace during our events. We strive to create a learning platform where we all leave with new ways of thinking, doing and moving supported employment forward.
