Leading Your Library in the Steady Flow of Change - Webinar (09/22/21)

This event is a Special Meeting of the NEFLIN Leadership Interest Group featuring Andrew Sanderbeck. All are welcome to attend, even if you have not been involved with the Leadership Interest Group before.

Change is constant; nothing stays the same. By definition then, leadership is constantly leading through change. Whatever the spectrum of change you’re leading (or about to lead) in your organization today, there are certain elements that must be present for the change to be successful.

In this interactive and informative program, we will explore the ADKAR Model and the five outcomes needed for a change initiative to be successful and how attendees can apply the model to a current or future change project.

Bring your plans for one current or future change initiative to this program and immediately apply the information to incorporate into your action plan.

As a result of this program, attendees will be able to:

  • Explain the importance of communicating the “why” in leading change
  • Incorporate lessons learned from past changes into leading a new change initiative including a resistance plan
  • Develop an action plan for a change initiative at their library using the ADKAR Model
