Jerry Enzler is the founder of the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium, a 14-acre, Smithsonian-Affiliated museum in Dubuque, Iowa. His new book, Jim Bridger: Trailblazer of the Amercan West, captures the life of Jim Bridger, including new information about Bridger's interactions with General Grenville Dodge during the Plains Indian Wars of 1865-1866.
Enzler has created award winning local and traveling exhibits and has written museum text and film scripts that have been read or seen by over 4 million people. He has appeared on History Channel; been interviewed on public radio in the U.S., Europe, and Japan, and has given public addresses and programs in the United States, France, Scotland, and Ireland.
