Engage Everyone in Hybrid Meetings -
2-Part Webinar (8/18/21 & 8/25/21)

IMPORTANT:
This is a 2-part webinar that meets Wednesday, August 18
AND Wednesday, August 25, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, ET.

You must attend both sessions.

Challenge:
A hybrid meeting refers to the physical location of participants. Some are located together in the same place. Others join the meeting online. Hybrid meetings can be unproductive because all participants don’t have the same visual access to information and each other.
Sometimes, it takes 10-15 minutes for attendees to find out what the group is trying to achieve, and how they’re supposed to contribute. In the meantime, half the group starts working on something else.
When hybrid meetings are well-facilitated, all attendees pay attention, participate, and contribute. Meaningful participation then provides the foundation for informed consent and concerted follow-through.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course, attendees will be able to:
  • Plan a hybrid meeting that will leverage the talent of allattendees, wherever they are located.
  • Prepare attendees to share responsibility for the successof the meeting.
  • Launch the hybrid meeting in a way that focusesattention and gets everyone on a level playing field.
  • Select and facilitate the best process to generateactive participation.
  • Win back attention when distractions occur orenergy wanes.

Topics Include:

  • Planning the hybrid meeting
  • Making hybrid location arrangements
  • Using appropriate technology
  • Getting off to a clear and fast start
  • Focusing and engaging everyone
  • Taking notes
  • Getting back on track
  • Completing with clear decisions and next steps
