About this workshop:
A closer look, through the NVC lens, at what life has handed to us in the last year and what we have given to life: finding the space to savour the ups and downs by anchoring ourselves to inner reservoir of our Needs.
About Sudha Shankar:
NVC came to me unobtrusively. I ‘stumbled’ upon it in 2009, little imagining what a life-changing event that would be. Now, more than a decade later, I am excited to be part of a worldwide community of certified trainers, who hold the vision that every life matters, every voice must be heard, and that, beyond our opinions and diversities, we can access our shared humanity and compassion. I see the potential of NVC, today more than ever, of helping us focus on what binds us rather than what scatters and separates us.
About the Houston NVC Fundraiser:
We envision a culture of peace in which nonviolence is the bridge to a transformed world.
