Ballona Community Restoration Event 

The Ballona Wetlands Community Restoration Project focuses on removing invasive iceplant and other non-native vegetation that can inhibit and impede the growth of drought-tolerant, native California plants such as pickleweed, salt grass, and alkali weed. We are excited to have everyone back!

All participants must wear a face covering and practice social distancing during the event.

COVID-19 vaccines are an important tool to help stop the pandemic. The Bay Foundation encourages everyone do their part to help defeat the virus by getting fully vaccinated.

Parking

Parking is behind 303 Culver Blvd. The restoration site is about 0.3 miles east on the south side of Culver Blvd. Note: it is not through the gate in the parking lot. This is part of Ballona but not where we will be. Google Map

Site Location

The restoration site is about 0.3 miles east of the parking lot (see above). Google Maps
Use caution when walking to the event site after crossing Nicholson St as this is a busy intersection in the morning. 

 

There are NO restrooms at the event site.
