This workshop for middle school social studies teachers will utilize various web-based high-quality interactive resources to help educators teach middle school social studies content with standards-based lessons and activities.

Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. A $100 stipend will be provided to teachers who attend the full day. Attending teachers will also receive a certificate for 7 hours of professional development and access to lesson plans and digital resources.
- Certificates for 7 hours of high-quality professional development will be provided.
- Activities are aligned to NC Essential Standards in middle school social studies-economics and personal finance.
- Activites are interactive and hands-on.
- Arrive early (8:30) for registration and breakfast.
- Lunch will be provided at no cost.
- Access to web-based resources with thousands of lesson plans and interactive resources will be provided.
- A $100 stipend will be provided for teachers who attend the full day.
