Incentivizing Best Practices That Support School   District Staffing Stability

Greetings! Please join us on October 21, 2021, for a presentation by the Puget Sound Workers’ Compensation Trust (PSWCT) Return-to-Work Manager, Aliza Hauser and the Executive Director, Clairmonte Cappelle. After nearly three years of focused return to work efforts within the PSWCT, we will examine the Return-to-Work Incentive Program. Our review involves an analysis of the benefits school districts achieved by having a successful Return-to-Work Program, plus the financial and psychosocial takeaways they are receiving while continuing to keep their employees actively working.

Aliza Hauser MA, CRC, PHR has over 20 years of experience in workers' compensation, ADA accommodation, and the successful reintegration of injured workers into the workforce. Aliza has been the Return To Work Manager of the Puget Sound Workers’ Compensation Trust since 2018. Prior to joining PSWCT, Aliza was a Disability Services Specialist with King County and a Rehabilitation Counselor with Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Aliza received her bachelor’s from Illinois State University and her master’s in rehabilitation counseling from Western Washington University. She holds designations as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and is currently the Board President of Neurology Vocational Services.
