Technology Ownership:
Examine the Total Cost

Needing to buy new technology for your library? Have you considered the total cost of ownership? Librarians need to be informed fully before deciding where to allocate funds. Join Lauren Hays, as we examine a total cost of ownership model and provide helpful tips for how librarians can decide what technology is worth the cost.

Here’s some of what you will learn:

  • What the total cost ownership model is
  • How to utilize the model to make informed decisions
  • Why it is important to consider all cost factors before buying technology
  • How much you are willing to spend on new devices
