Establishing a Basic Planned Giving Program 

Attendees will gain knowledge of basic planned giving types, how these gifts can build financial resources for their non-profit and then how to implement and promote a passive planned giving program.

   Mark Browning
Mark Browning is a Senior Vice President and Trust Officer with Extraco Banks in College Station. He graduated from Texas A&M in College Station with a B.B.A. in Finance in 1988 and holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation from the American Bankers Association. Prior to this, he was a Planned Giving Officer at the Texas A&M Foundation for ten years.  Before moving back to College Station in 2010, he was an Executive Vice President at regional banks in McAllen and Beaumont for over twenty years.  Mark is a native of Beaumont, Texas and is a graduate of Leadership Beaumont. He is married to Nancy since 1989 and has three adult children. When not working, Mark and Nancy like to travel (especially weekends at the lake), read, and attend college sporting events. Mark volunteers with his church endowment board and other non-profits such as Lamar University College of Arts & Sciences Advisory Board, Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity and the Episcopal Diocese of Texas.
