SWA Seminar: Fundamentals of Sealant Performance -
for an Expert Crowd

*Due to restrictions, seating is limted to 45 attendees.

In the modern era of constructing buildings, and the restoration thereof, wet sealant is still the preferred method to isolate building interiors from exteriors.  Evolving chemistry has demonstrated both trials and tribulations toward this endeavour. Kevin Day is more likely known to you as an "EIFS guy", but funny that you don't get to be an expert with EIFS without becoming an expert in sealants.

 Highlights include:

  • Material types:  then, now and the future
  • Usage parameters: loads - application conditions
  • Field Testing : do’s & don’ts
  • Risk mitigation:  defined by wall/assembly type and repair method (comprehensive vs. spot repair)

Following the brief overview, Bill Mackay will host a panel discussion, including:

  • Kevin Day, Sense Engineering
  • Brandon Pasta, Enco Caulking & Maintenance
  • Peter Sotirakos, Tremco Canada

Come with your questions - no promises that our panel will have all the answers, but with many other experts in the room, we're all sure to learn together.
