Be Wild 5K & Wild Mile Run/Walk
Saturday, September 18th, 2021 | 10:00am - 2:00pm
Join us in-person for our newly revitalized Be Wild 5K & Wild Mile Run/Walk and support wildlife in need! This moderately challenging, rustic course winds through 230 acres of wooded nature trails of the Howell Nature Center. After the race, participants are welcome to explore the Wild Wonders Wildlife Park, play in Alexandria's NatureScape, or relax in our Race Village complete with food, music, wildlife display and more! Registration includes a limited edition collector's medal! Collectable “Rocket Raccoon” shirt sold separately.

Be Wild 5K Run/Walk: $30.00 per person
Wild Mile Walk: $10 per person
Price increases after August 31, 2021 at 11:59pm EDT
All proceeds go directly to providing wildlife programs and nature-based experiences for youth!
To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we are following the below protocols:
- We will be maintaining small groups
- Encouraging social distancing between unrelated groups
- All HNC staff will wear masks
- Guests are required to wear masks when indoors at all times, and outdoors when 6ft social distancing is not possible.
