Every day, more than 3,000 children are killed through abortion and their bodies discarded as medical waste.   it's time to honor their lives and give them the dignity that the tragedy of abortion denied them.
On Saturday, September 25, 2021*, Right to Life of Northeast Ohio, with the collaboration of Ohio Right to Life and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society will sponsor an interfaith memorial service on the annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, calling on pro-life Americans to honor the gravesites and memorials of our aborted brothers and sisters.  This year, our primary focus will be a memorial service and burial for the aborted child, whom we've named "Gianna John", found in the trash this past summer at the Northeast Ohio Women's Center abortion clinic in Cuyahoga Falls.

The interfaith memorial participants include Rev. Walter Moss, Rev. Bob Schneider and Rev. Thomas McCann, with music provided by Jeff & Kira Andrea of Mercy Divine. We are also honored to have the assistance of the Knights of Columbus honor guard.

The Catholic Cemeteries Association has donated the burial site and headstone, Heaven's Gate Ministries has donated the casket and vault, and Anthony Funeral Home in Akron is donating all of their services.

Please enter the cemetery through the main gate on Waterloo Road and follow the directional signs to the event site.

Please won't you join us to honor the innocent lives of the children who were denied birth, and denied the dignity of a funeral, and to give dignity and a name to the aborted child who was disposed of in the trash at the Northeast Ohio Women's Center abortion clinic?

YES, I will attend

* The actual date of the 2021 National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children in September 18, 2021.  We have postponed the local observance to September 25, 2021 to accomodate for the logistics of planning the aborted child's memorial service.
