Learn how small businesses build and maintain credit. Explore how creditworthiness is measured for small businesses. Examine the connection between personal and business credit. Identify the documents needed for small business credit applications.

Erika Hersh joined the Veritex Community Bank team in 2020. She is an SBA Lender and responsible for assisting businesses with loans $350K to $5MM. Prior to Veritex, Erika was the Regional Lending Manager for PeopleFund, a Community Development Financial Institution. She has extensive experience in SBA Lending, Small Business Consulting, & Business Education. Erika has won Top 400 Most Influential People of Fort Worth Inc. Magazine for 3 years. She has a passion for helping business owners reach their full potential. Outside of the office, she enjoys volunteering her time as a counselor at a non-profit in her hometown of Joshua, TX.
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel you must notify us via email 7 days prior to the workshop date. A confirmation of your cancellation will be sent once it is received. Calling the SCORE Fort Worth office is not acceptable for a cancellation notice. All no-shows or cancellations after 7 days will lose their paid workshop fees.
All workshop fees must be paid in advance prior to workshop date. For security purposes we will not be able to accept payment for workshops at the door unless workshop is being held at James E. Guinn complex in Fort Worth, TX.
CANCELLATION NOTICES MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO: Jenny Day at ch.admin0120@scorevolunteer.org. Any other means of cancellation will not be accepted.
